GET TO KNOW THE TEAM
It all began in South Australia where Bennett discovered his passion for DJing and after a short time in 2011, Melbourne called for his return. That is where he was introduced to the up and coming group ‘The D.Y.E’. As part of The D.Y.E., Bennett joined the stage with two MC’s Matt Zull and Darren Nichol performing as ‘DJ Marshall’. The group released four independent mix-tapes; their debut EP ‘Sorry for the Stickers’ was distributed by Obese Records in 2015 and later their single ‘Lighters in the Sky’ was nominated for a ‘Budweiser – People’s Choice Award’ in Sydney, at the Australian Independent Music Awards.
With close to 20 years of music industry experience under his belt, Stu Watts threw himself into all things music from a young age. At 10 years old, he began drumming and with daily practice, he soon joined his first band at the ripe age of 14. Since then he has played in countless bands both on drums and guitar, securing Triple J and Triple M airplay with bands The Playbook and The Spinset. The bands also saw him tour Australia supporting international heavyweights such as Real Friends and The Story So Far.
